This project was particularly interesting. The home owner had an 80's formica butcher block counter top and splash. We throughly cleaned and masked off the area. The finish is white gloss. The owner was very pleased with the result. This area was badly stained and nicked. We filled in the damaged area, prepped the surface and refinishes with a high white gloss finish. Originally, this shower tile was a medium gloss brown. The owner requested a China white finish. You should have seen this one before refinishing. Lots of rust and dings. Originally a white porcelain tub, the owner wanted something flashy, and a red tub was just the ticket! This apartment complex wanted a complete refinish on this tub. Badly stained, to replace it would have cost well over $1,500.
