Jeff was patient, consultative and most importantly UBER responsive. Juan was the gentleman who did the work and was polite, communicative and wore a mask the entire time. We had our guest bath, bath tile and countertop refinished. Juan's supervisor helped guide me in choosing the right color to "match" -- so thankful for him as I failed to consider the color of the commode! They are on time (5 minutes early) and the job is absolute perfection. Do not hesitate to reach out to Jeff if you are looking to give a surface in your home a "face lift". Only bummed that we didn't make this decision sooner. 10 stars.

We had 2 of our bathtubs painted. Jeff is super nice, responsive and very accommodating. His employees are extremely detail oriented and thorough. They keep the workspace very tidy. They tape up all the surroundings and keep the dust to minimum. Overall i'm very happy with the result. I had a hairline crack in one of the sinks and Jeff fixed it for free which was very generous and nice of him. However we ended up painting one of the bathtubs twice because of the color mismatch. It looked terrible with the surrounding of the bathtub because of 2 different colors (pictures attached) and the tub was also extremely slippery after the painting for the first time. We brought up this issue with Jeff and he sent his employees the following week to get this done again. He gave us discount for the materials and only charged for the labor. I just wish he had mentioned these to us from the getgo since this is the first time for us and we were not aware these things. Jose matched the color of the tub with rest of the bathroom and put a sand type of material to make it non-slippery. The tub is perfect not. It could've saved us the inconvenience and extra money had we made aware of these factors before. Going forward please make your customer aware of these facts so they can make a wise decision and save themselves and you time and headache. But overall I highly recommend their services. Thank you!

Advanced bathtub refinished my faux marble tub from the 70s. We were remodeling our bathroom and did not want the expense of replacing the sunken tub. They were professional and the look was better than I expected. They also stood by their warranty. After about six months there was a small scuff in the finish and they came and fixed it at no cost to me. I highly recommend their services, in fact I am going to use them for some other projects in my home.

Jeff and his team did a great job refinishing our cultured marble bathtub and double vanity! They were very clear regarding when exactly would be the best time to do it wrt all the other remodeling work in our bathroom. And when they say they'd like to be the last ones in there after all the tile work etc., they mean it well. However, my recommendation would be to have them do the refinish before you get the plumbing/caulking installed, just so that you can ensure the entire surface is covered. They even worked hard to make sure the small cracks in the sink were totally invisible after the refinish. And they promptly showed up for some refinish repair needed because we scratched the finish when trying to get the plumbing/tile work installed. Time will tell how the refinish handles daily use and accidental dropping of bathroom items. But for now, our bathtub and vanity look like brand new! Highly recommend if you're looking to save money on purchasing new bathtub/vanity, but would like a refreshed look.

A man and wife team arrived, and closed the bathroom door shut and got on with it. It took them 4 hours total and the difference at the end was amazing. Its like we have a new tub!! Highly recommend these guys and Jeff, the owner was super helpful from the start of the process.

Had our tub refinished by previous owners. The finishing unfortunately began to peel a few months later. I contacted the new owner Jeff and explained the situation. He was extremely accommodating and set up a convenient time for his crew to come out and redo the work free of charge (warranty). Overall great experience, would definitely use them again.

Very happy with the service given in refinishing two bath tubs for us. We don't have experience yet with how easy they are to maintain and how durable the coating is but they look beautiful now and the person doing the work was very responsive to our questions. The results were fast and the service super quick. Be sure to have lots of cross ventilation because the fumes will be a bit overwhelming. Might evacuate the house for 3-4 hours and keep pets outside.

The finished product looked great. There was a big mess left behind but it is a dusty process. I have a small window in the bathroom that they used to put the vent tube while doing the finish...they didn't remove the screen so now I have a black screen with a big white circle imprinted in the middle of it. So 4 stars because they were quick (done in 1 day) and it looks decent.***Update 4/23 - Jeff called after reading my review and offered to have his guys come clean the screen and apologized that they didn't in the first place. I appreciate the follow up and have changed my review to 5 stars. Great customer service!

Peter was very professional. They came as scheduled and completed the work. Arrived promptly, all of a sudden 60 year old sinks look like new! Since they are mounted under thick set tile these sinks would have been prohibitively expensive to replace. Plus we kind of like the retro look that the old 4 1/4" tile has. Carlos and Anthony did a nice job and Peter was really cooperative and had them come back to polish the sinks for the perfect porcelain like look. Thanks Advanced Bathtub Refinishing!

Our cast iron tub was pink! The tub and all of the tile surround was in very good condition. It seemed wasteful to rip it all out just to make a color change. Advanced Bathtub Refinishing resurfaced the tub and surround in 4-5 hours. The result was amazing. A brand new tub and surround. They even caulked all of the corners and added no-skid to the bottom! They covered the rest of the bathroom with plastic before application, and used a fan with vent-hose during application. There was no sign that they had been there after they left.

Our 20 year old porcelain tub had dark circular stains from using a rubber mat, which we made worse by trying to remove with Soft Scrub (and who knows what else). In addition, it had a few chipped pieces (one as big as a nickel). I procrastinated getting it fixed for years and, finally, decided to get it refinished last week. After looking at reviews in Angie's List, I called Advanced Bathtub Refinishing and spoke to Peter. He gave me a quote over the phone and I scheduled an appointment. The appointment was a breeze (at least for us). Freddy arrived on time and finished the work in 3 to 4 hours. When he left, everything looked perfect-- no mess whatsoever. Having a beautiful tub again is worth living with the temporary smell and the little inconvenience of not been able to use the tub for a few days. We are very happy with the results. I only regret not having taken pictures of the tub before the work was done--the results are striking.

Peter & his Austin Bathtub Refinishing crew were simply on point. Peter was very communicative & straight forward. His crew showed up on time even after their truck broke down & getting a rental car for the day. They were also very professional, nice & even friendly. They did a wonderful job as you can see from our before & after photos. Unlike other refinishers, Austin Bathtub Refinishing had professional grade equipment that vented the fumes/smell outside of my home which tremendously helped to mitigate said fumes/smells. The wife and I are super happy we chose ABR and Peter!

I have used Peter and Advanced Bathtub Refinishing's services 6 or 7 times in the past decade on various remodels (including my own home) in central Austin. They are the only contractor I have ever used for these services as they are easy to work with and I always get consistent, quality results. As the photos show, I have used them not only for tubs but on occasion to totally change the nature of a vintage bathroom . I unconditionally recommend them.

Excellent! This bathtub and tile wall had been exposed to three nasty boys for 12 years (yes you can imagine how that looked). They did a great job. Great job. After some initial scheduling issues with the Austin weather, the guys came to the house and refurbished two bathtubs. Both tubs had to be completely stripped down from other sub-par refinishing efforts. They look great now and the company offers a 5-year warranty. The staff was professional and courteous. Great Experience, they were very knowledgeable regarding stripping the paint off of my stainless sink/counters, and were very comforting with my options pertaining to re-painting my sink. We ended up keeping the stainless steel, and they were very considerate to gently strip/scrape the existing paint. I will recommend them to anyone who needs painting, repainting, or resurfacing work done.
